Every generation can be unfairly judged for any number of reasons. Baby Boomers were supposedly a bunch of hippies, and Generation X was labeled lazy. The harsh stereotype associated with millennials is that they're doing away with the old way of doing things (even if it still works for everyone else). This includes phenomena like not buying things or even their breakfast choices. Why do they insist on doing everything differently? Here are some traditional things that have been threatened by millennial habits.

Cereal has become an inconvenience
Eating cereal on a Saturday morning while watching cartoons was a popular pastime for kids in the nineties. Fast forward to 2019, and it seems those same kids are responsible for cereal's decline. As confusing as it sounds, it's true.
The New York Times reported that 40 percent of millennials surveyed said the sweet and crunchy morning option "was an inconvenient breakfast choice because they had to clean up afterward." That explains why avocado toast is now in such high demand.

No more "I do" and kissing the bride
"You may now kiss the bride" used to be a sacred phrase that couples eagerly awaited from the moment they fell in love. Research reveals that younger Americans are deciding they don't need to get married. Or they're waiting until later in life.
In the 1980s, more than two-thirds of people aged 25 to 34 were already married. Today, more than half of those in that age range are still single. No more wedding bells or bouquet toss?
